Great idea, awful implementation

The idea around Animaps is great, but the program has been written so badly, it is unusable in practice. One of the major issues is, that changes in a route are NOT SAVED!!!! So, take an existing map, change the route, press Save. Close Animaps and open it again: changes are gone. In other circumstances changing the route does not even activate the Save-button. This, along with dozens of other features that don't work or are extremely clumsy, made me decide to give up using this piece of crap
